In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most Merciful
Political Secretary of Justice and Equality Movement, Suleiman Sandal Haggar comments on the statement which made by the director of the International Crisis Group about the referral of the case of Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir to the ICC.
Suleiman: Louise Arbour, director of the International Crisis Group, really, committed a grave mistake towards the rights of the victims of genocide in Darfur and United Nations and the international commission which investigated the file and the ICC, when she describes the referral decision of Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir case to the international criminal court as a grave error.
Suleimanl: calls Louise to retreat from this statement which only serves dictators and blood sucking in the world.
Director of the International Crisis Group Louise Arbour said that the referral of the case of Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir to the international criminal court was grave mistake, but she did not elaborate or determine what is the nature of such mistake, is the mistake in the essence of the issue or in the recommendation of the international committee which investigated the case.
Since she did not specify the reasons of the serious mistake we can say that her statement was very provocative and so disgusting and sends a very wrong message to the accused Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir and each of any dictators who kills their people with their weapons. I do not know why was the director of Crises Group made the statement at this particular time and we do not want to go a lot to the interpretations and accusations that can be said when you make such statements as designed to serve purposes of specific policy therefore we ask the director of the organization to retreat from her statements which will definitely reduce the reputation and status of the International Crisis Group, also we call on all activists in the areas of human rights to detect and expose of the reasons of such statements and react against it, which serves the repressive regimes and dictatorships in the world
